Cindy Lindsay
Principal, FLS Associates

Ms. Lindsay is a principal at FLS Associates, providing strategic business acceleration for technology start-up companies.  Prior to joining FLS Associates, she was one of the founders of Sitera, Inc. which was acquired by Vitesse Semiconductor in 2000.  She was an early employee at Cornerstone Imaging and participated in their IPO in 1993.  Her early work in the technology industry was with Hewlett Packard.

In her community, Ms. Lindsay is a director of BoldeReach, an organization that provides support to organizations assisting women and children in extreme need internationally.  Ms. Lindsay serves as an advisor to the University of Colorado Student Chapter of Engineers Without Borders, serves on the Advisory Board of the CU Center for Education in Social Responsibility and mentors the Social Impact Track of CU’s New Venture Challenge.  In 2008, she was a ‘Women Who Light the Community’ recipient.  In 2010, she was named ‘Woman of the Year’ by the Boulder County YWCA.

Ms. Lindsay is a trustee emerita of Rice University and served on the University Committee for Governance.  She has served on the board of directors of the Association of Rice Alumni, most recently serving as Board President.  In addition, she shares her expertise as an entrepreneur through participating in the Rice Alliance for Technology and Entrepreneurship Business Plan Competition (RBPC), sponsoring the prize for the RBPC Social Impact Track winner and lecturing in ELEC 394, an undergraduate course on professional issues in engineering.  She currently serves on the Rice Alliance for Technology & Entrepreneurship – Information Technology/Web 2.0 Advisory Board.
