Stephanie Copeland
SVP, Zayo Group
Ms Copeland joined the Zayo Group in June of 2012 leading their European Markets team. after spending the prior 10 years at Qwest Communications.
Most recently at Qwest, she was the vice president and general manager of small business, responsible for the full profit and loss of the small business segment. Prior to this role, Ms. Copeland has held a number of positions at Qwest, including the responsibility for setting Qwest’s go to market strategy and implementation for the Enterprise Group. Prior to this role, Ms. Copeland was vice president of marketing strategy and pricing and offer management.
Ms. Copeland has worked in the communications industry for over 23 years and has held a broad range of leadership positions in sales, business development, pricing, product management and marketing in the US and Europe. Prior to joining Qwest, Ms. Copeland was an integral contributor to Cable & Wireless’ joint ventures in Russia, MFS International in Washington D.C. and Level 3 Communications in London.
Ms. Copeland is a graduate of the University of Illinois in Urbana, IL with a bachelor’s degree in German and commercial studies, and also studied at the University of Paderborn in Paderborn, Germany completing post graduate course work in business. She serves on the board of the Children’s Museum of Denver and on the board of KIPP Colorado.
